PRIME TIME SPORTS SHIFTS TO SPORTSNET ONE AND SPORTSNET ONTARIO STARTING MARCH 7

PTS will air its entire show live on Sportsnet ONE from 3-6 p.m. (ET)

TORONTO (March 4, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet will debut a new home for Canada’s most listened to sports radio personality as Prime Time Sports with host Bob McCown, on Sportsnet Radio The FAN 590, moves to Sportsnet ONE and Sportsnet Ontario on Monday, March 7th.

Prime Time Sports will broadcast live on Sportsnet ONE from 3 p.m. (ET) to 6 p.m. (ET). Sportsnet Ontario will air the final live hour of the radio broadcast at 5 p.m. (ET). Sportsnet East will continue to broadcast Prime Time Sports from 5 p.m. (ET) to 6 p.m. (ET).

“Positioning Prime Time Sports on Sportsnet ONE is just the latest example in building the Sportsnet brand across multiple platforms,” said Scott Moore, President, Rogers Broadcasting. “Bob is one of our top stars. We want to ensure he reaches the biggest possible audience.”

In addition, Prime Time Sports will feature Globe and Mail sports columnist Stephen Brunt and Toronto Star sports columnist Damien Cox co-hosting with McCown on a rotational basis.
