ROGERS SPORTSNET HAS 500 MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAMES THIS SEASON

Big Names, Big Teams, Big League

TORONTO (March 16, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet takes its Major League Baseball coverage to a whole new level in 2011 with over 500 games.

Sportsnet's baseball coverage will feature 162 regular-season Blue Jays games, over 300 MLB games including the World Series, American League and National League Championships, MLB Divisionals, the All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby.

Sportsnet, the home of MLB in Canada, has also added former Blue Jay Gregg Zaun as in-studio analyst working alongside Jays' Connected host Jamie Campbell. MLB Insider Shi Davidi will contribute to sportsnet.ca as well as appearing on Jays Connected and Sportsnet Connected.

Highlights of the Sportsnet’s regular season MLB schedule include:

· 46 New York Yankees games – The AL powerhouse has a loaded lineup with Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixiera, Derek Jeter and Robinson Cano

· 43 Seattle Mariners games – Led by the 2010 American League Cy Young winner Felix Hernandez and top-of-the-lineup speedsters Ichiro Suzuki and Chone Figgins

· 40 Boston Red Sox games – The other beast from the AL East just got better with the additions of all-star hitters Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez

· 33 Philadelphia Phillies games – The majors’ best pitching staff featuring Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Cole Hamels and Roy Oswalt
