VANCOUVER WHITECAPS MAKE ROGERS SPORTSNET DEBUT THIS SATURDAY

TORONTO (March 24, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet presents the Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s first Major League Soccer road match when they meet the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, March 26 at 4 p.m. (ET)/1 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet ONE.
Craig MacEwen calls the play-by-play from PPL Park Stadium, while former Whitecap Martin Nash handles the analysis.
Sportsnet will produce 21 Whitecap matches this season, more than another other Canadian broadcaster. All games will be featured in high definition.
Vancouver made its MLS debut a successful one after blitzing Toronto FC 4-2 last weekend. Whitecaps were led by a pair of goals from Eric Hassli. Vancouver midfielders Atiba Harris and Davide Chiumiento both picked up a pair of assists in the win.
Philadelphia is coming off a shutout win over Houston Dynamo 1-0. Union will host Whitecaps in their home opener.
