TORONTO (May 30, 2011) – Rogers Sportsnet Sens is the destination for the American Hockey League’s 2011 Calder Cup Finals starting Wednesday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m. (ET) with Game 3 between the Binghamton Senators and Houston Aeros.

Sportsnet Sens will present Game 3 and Game 4 of the Calder Cup Finals featuring Binghamton, the AHL farm team of the Ottawa Senators. Sportsnet Sens will also present the remaining games from the series, if necessary.
Binghamton is looking to capture their first ever Calder Cup. Sens centre Jim O’Brien scored the overtime winner in a 2-1 win in Game 2 to tie the Calder Cup Finals series 1-1. The Senators post-season roster is highlighted by Bobby Butler, Zack Smith and Andre Benoit, all of whom tasted some NHL action with Ottawa during the 2010-2011 campaign.
Houston, the AHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, won the Calder Cup only once back in 2003. Last Friday, the Aeros took Game 1 of the Calder Cup Finals 3-1 on the heels of a pair of goals from Jed Ortmeyer. Houston forward Colton Gillies, chosen 16th-overall by the Wild in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, also collected two assists in the win.
