ROGERS SPORTSNET HAS FULL COVERAGE OF TODAY’S NHL ANNOUNCEMENT IN WINNIPEG

Daren Millard, Nick Kypreos & Doug MacLean are in Winnipeg for the press conference

TORONTO (MAY 31, 2011) – The NHL is expected to announce the move of the Atlanta Thrashers to Winnipeg today (Tuesday) and the press conference will be carried live on Rogers Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific on at 11:30 a.m. (ET)/10:30 a.m. (CT)/8:30 a.m. (PT).

Today's announcement will also be streamed live at sportsnet.ca. Sportsnet Radio - The FAN 590 and Sportsnet Radio - The FAN 960 will also be airing the press conference live.

The news conference will be held at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. The Sportsnet broadcast of the conference will be hosted by RJ Broadhead and Stephen Brunt in the Toronto studios. The Hockeycentral panel of Daren Millard, Nick Kypreos and Doug MacLean are in Winnipeg along with Arash Madani and John Shannon. Dan Dunleavy of Sportsnet Radio - The FAN 590 will also be on location in Winnipeg reporting live.
