ROGERS SPORTSNET PRESENTS BASEBALL’S BEST IN THE MLB ANNUAL ALL-STAR GAME TUESDAY
All-Star coverage will also include Canadian broadcast exclusive of Monday’s Home Run Derby
TORONTO (July 7, 2011) – The Toronto Blue Jays’ Jose Bautista leads the American League against the National League in the 82nd Major League Baseball All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. (ET)/4:30 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific.
Sportsnet’s All-Star coverage will begin with the Canadian broadcast exclusive of the Home Run Derby on Monday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m. (ET)/4:30 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific.
Both Tuesday’s All-Star Game and Monday’s Home Run Derby will include a 30 minute pre-game show hosted by Jamie Campbell, who will be joined by MLB analyst Gregg Zaun, Sportsnet Connected reporter Barry Davis, and sportsnet.ca baseball insider Shi Davidi, live from Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
The pre-game shows will include a feature on the rise of Bautista from obscurity to the leading vote-getter in the history of the All-Star Game, as well as on-field interviews with Bautista, former Jay Roy Halladay and Jays’ manager John Farrell.
Sportsnet Radio – The FAN 590 will also broadcast the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby while Sportsnet Radio - The FAN 960 will broadcast the All-Star Game.
