WHITECAPS HOPE TO STEER THE RAPIDS OF COLORADO ON SPORTSNET ONE THIS SATURDAY

Sportsnet has two Whitecaps MLS matches this month

VANCOUVER (July 7, 2011) – Vancouver Whitecaps FC look for a rocky mountain high when they visit the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer action on Saturday, July 9 at 9 p.m. (ET)/6 p.m. (PT) on Rogers Sportsnet ONE.

Craig MacEwen calls the play-by-play from Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado, while former Whitecap Martin Nash handles the analysis.

Sportsnet ONE will also feature the Whitecaps hosting Real Salt Lake on Saturday, July 16 at 4 p.m. (ET)/1 p.m. (PT).

Sportsnet will produce 21 Whitecap matches this season, more than another other Canadian broadcaster. All games will be featured in high definition.

Sportsnet broadcasts the Barclays Premier League, Major League Soccer's Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Canadian National Team Soccer and the UEFA Champions League.
