Canada’s Biggest Sports Stars Shine at the 2011 Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Induction Special, on Sportsnet and Citytv

CALGARY (Nov. 7, 2011) - Sportsnet and Citytv celebrate the best in Canadian sports with a special presentation of Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame 2011 induction ceremony. The 60-minute special will highlight the greatest moments from the prestigious evening attended by the who’s-who of the Canadian sports world, debuting Monday, Nov. 14 @ 9 p.m. (ET)/6 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet ONE and Saturday, Nov. 19 @ 8 p.m. (ET,PT,MT and CT) on Citytv.

Sportsnet’s Jamie Campbell hosts the November 8 ceremony honouring six Canadian sports icons as they are inducted into the Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2011 Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame inductees include:

· Ray Bourque, Hockey

· Andrea Neil, Soccer

· Lui Passaglia, Football

· Dick Pound, Sport Administration

· Peter Reid, Ironman

· Lauren Woolstencroft, Para-alpine skiing
