A Western Showdown Highlights the Can’t Miss Events This Week on Sportsnet

TORONTO (Nov. 21, 2011) – Friday Night Hockey from the WHL, the year-end championship of men’s tennis and action from the UEFA Champions League headline Sportsnet's Can’t Miss Events this week.
Friday Night Hockey – CHL Game of the Week
Griffin Reinhart and the Edmonton Oil Kings welcome division rivals the Medicine Hat Tigers on Sportsnet’s Friday Night Hockey on Friday, November 25 at 9 p.m. (ET)/6 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet ONE. Every Friday night of the 2011-2012 regular season, Sportsnet will televise a CHL game in high definition.
Reinhart is projected to be an early first round pick in this year’s NHL Entry Draft. He is the son of former Calgary Flames defenceman Paul Reinhart.
Friday Night Hockey broadcasts will be handled by play-by-play announcer RJ Broadhead, analyst Sam Cosentino, and host Rob Faulds. Former NHL-er Rob Brown will be on-hand to provide additional analysis.
On sportsnet.ca, columnist Patrick King will take a deeper look each week at the Ontario Hockey League, Western Hockey League and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Cosentino will also appear on the website with a weekly blog and discuss CHL news on Skype chats with fans.
On radio, Sportsnet 590 The FAN and Sportsnet 960 The FAN will provide regular updates on game results and stats.
UEFA Champions League
Manchester United and Benfica look to move on to the next round of the UEFA Champions League when they meet on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m. (ET)/11:30 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet East, Sportsnet Ontario, Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific channels.
Gerry Dobson and Craig Forrest will preview all UEFA Champions matches and provide halftime and post-game analysis.

Men’s Tennis – ATP World Tour Finals
Sportsnet serves up coverage of the ATP World Tour Finals starting on Monday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. (ET)/6 a.m. (PT) on Sportsnet ONE.
The World Tour Finals have a different look than any of the other tournaments on the calendar. The top-eight ranked players are divided into two groups of four and play round-robin matches against each of the other players in their group. The two best players in each group move onto the semi finals on Saturday with the winner being determined in the finals on Sunday.
This year’s tourney will feature Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Roger Federer, David Ferrer, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Tomas Berdych and Mardy Fish.
