Sportsnet reflects on the best and worst from 2011 with Connected Year in Review: Fuelled by Fans
- Sportsnet Connected’s Hazel Mae hosts the one-hour special on Christmas Eve -

TORONTO (Dec. 21, 2011) – From Sidney Crosby’s concussion to the return of the Winnipeg Jets, Sportsnet looks back at the sports stories that defined 2011 with Connected Year in Review: Fuelled by Fans on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 9 p.m. (ET)/9 p.m. (MT)/9 p.m. (PT) on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West and Pacific. The hour-long special is hosted by Sportsnet Connected anchor Hazel Mae.
The HOCKEY CENTRAL panel of Nick Kypreos, Doug MacLean and Daren Millard will be on hand to break down the best and worst from the NHL. Also, Mae countdowns the best and worst in sports from 2011 with Sportsnet insiders including: Gregg Zaun, Jamie Campbell, “Showdown” Joe Ferraro, Gerry Dobson, and Craig Forrest. The special is capped off by Bob McCown, Stephen Brunt and Damien Cox debating the top sports story of 2011.
Connected Year in Review: Fuelled by Fans will also reveal the winners of the year-end sportsnet.ca polls, including:
