It's common practice for those of us in the business in these situations to have two large monitors at our disposal to watch both games. How else to keep track of games being played at the same time?
But on this day there was a wild card. An 18-hole playoff in the U.S. Open. Now the focus, of course, is on the games but we're all sports fans here so it was hard to ignore Tiger Woods against Rocco Mediate.
So there we were trying to keep tabs on everything.
