TORONTO -- Sportsnet and Sportsnet.ca have teamed up make sure Canadian soccer supporters do not miss one minute of Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Honduras.
The must-win for Canada game will be streamed live on Sportsnet.ca beginning Saturday at at 8:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. MT/5:00 pm PT. Television viewers with the digital package can watch it live on Sportsnet East or Sportsnet Ontario. The game will be shown on tape delay on Sportsnet West at 9:00 p.m. MT and on Sportsnet Pacific at 11:00 p.m. PT. Gerry Dobson has the play-by-play call, while former national team goalkeeper Craig Forrest has the analysis.
This match will be the second of six CONCACAF Stage III matches. In the first match of the this stage, Canada tied Jamaica 1-1 at BMO Field in Toronto on August 20th. Canada is part of CONCACAF Group 2, a four-team group including Honduras, Mexico and Jamaica – from which only two teams can advance. Canada last played a World Cup qualifier in Montreal during the previous stage where they defeated the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 4-1 on June 20th.
