Toronto FC will be without defender Marvell Wynne on Saturday when the Reds host the Chicago Fire at BMO Field.
Wynne left Wednesday night's Nutrilite Championship game in the 16th minute after feeling a tweak in his hamstring. On Friday coach Chris Cummins said the scan showed no damage and Wynne will need a few days rest, meaning he will likely be ready for next Saturday's game against New England.
"Marvell has got a knock to the back of the leg," said Cummins. "It's just a contusion and he'll probably be out for about seven to 10 days."
Wynne has one assist in nine games for TFC this season.
Toronto (3-2-4) sit second in the Eastern Conference, one point behind D.C. United (3-1-5) and one point ahead of its Saturday opponents from Chicago (2-0-6).
