Soccercentral is on site in Philadelphia for the 2010 MLS SuperDraft. Co-host Gerry Dobson will file regular updates and talk to everyone involved.
Toronto FC do not own a first-round pick, and will select in the second-round at No. 24. In 2009, the Reds owned three first-round selections and used them to add Sam Cronin, O'Brian White and Stefan Frei.
Check back regularly for updates and interviews.
10:27 a.m. ET:
In Philadelphia, selections do not get underway until 2 p.m. ET.

RT @RapidsSoccer: busiest place in Philly right now: the Dunkin' Donuts in the draft's convention hall
10:35 a.m. ET:
Trade announced overnight: U.S. national team goalkeeper Troy Perkins is returning to D.C. United following a trade with the expansion Philadelphia Union. United sent midfielder Fred, the No. 7 overall pick in this year's draft and allocation money to Philadelphia on Wednesday in order to trade places with the Union in the MLS allocation order. That allowed United to acquire Perkins, who is returning to the league after playing two years with a Norwegian club.
12:05 p.m. ET:
More trading: Philadelphia acquired No. 6 overall pick from Dallas for allocation money. Union now has three of the top seven selections.
12:35 p.m. ET:
The start of the MLS superdraft is still more than an hour away and coincidentally the Canadian Soccer Association has called a 1pm conference call to release the roster for an upcoming training camp in Florida in advance of the Jamaica-Canada friendly on January 31. Wonder which TFC players will be called in? Perhaps a couple of other Canadians in MLS as well? We'll find out shortly.
12:40 p.m. ET:
Team personnel are slowing starting to drift into the Grand Ballroom of the Philadelphia Convention Centre. It really is grand, built inside the original train station dating back to the 19th century. The league has just sent out a release announcing the formation of a new department to deal specifcally with player contracts and labour relations. Interesting timing given the acrimonious labour dispute ongoing right now.
12:42 p.m. ET:
TRADE: Chris Albright traded by New England to New York for the 31st and 48th overall picks.
1:03 p.m. ET:
Canada's roster for the Florida camp and Jamaica friendly is out. Eleven MLS players including five from Toronto FC. DeRo, DeGuzman, Gerba, Serioux and Attakora. Although O'Brian White is on the radar, he's not in the squad.
1:23 p.m. ET:
The set up in the Grand ballroom has the team tables in the middle, with media and spectator seating around the outside. Interestingly enough the Toronto contingent were in their seats and hovered over their laptops long before anyone else. Its the boss Mo Johnston, coach Preki, assistants Nick Dasovic and Leo Percovic, as well as head scout Tim Regan. Every other team table remained vacant for at least 15 minutes.
1:44 p.m. ET:
A huge throng of Philadelphia supporters have loudly made their way into the room. When they settled down, a lonely voice bellowed out "T-F-C!!" These guys are everywhere. No surprise there are several hundred Philly supporters here. After all the draft is in their town. Not the first time its happened though. Back in 1998 the draft was held in South Florida, the same year the long forgotten Miami Fusion entered the league.
1:52 p.m. ET:
Ten minutes before this thing gets underway. Chatted briefly with the Toronto guys. No indication they have anything brewing, but you never know. The league has announced its new match ball for 2010. The new adidas ball is much like the World Cup ball featuring the "Grip'n' Groove" technology.
2:05 p.m. ET:
Philly, New York and D.C. supporters are chanting back and forth creating an incredible din. And D.C. doesn't even have a first round pick. Philly has traded up to grab both 6 and 7 from Dallas and D.C. Philly takes Oregon State forward Danny Mwanga.
2:17 p.m. ET:
After New York takes Virginia midfielder Tony Tchani number two, San Jose takes Wake Forest Defender Ike Opara. Akron's Canadian striker Teal Bunbury still available.
2:24 p.m. ET:
TFC's chances of getting Teal Bunbury were never very good. Now its official. K.C. takes him number 4. He's the first ever son of a former MLS player to be drafted. His father, Canadian international Alex also played for the Wizards.
2:53 p.m. ET:
Just chatted with Teal Bunbury and his father Alex. Teal is a chip off the old block. Full of confidence but not arrogant. Well spoken and very friendly. Here's something you want to hear: He says he'd love to play in the country where he was born. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario. Great news. TFC wanted him , but just couldn't swing a deal to make it happen.
3:53 p.m. ET:
MLS commissioner just met the media for a briefing on the labour deal which expires January 31. He said they are meeting daily with the players and progress is being made. But he also added that pro soccer has failed for 50 years in the U.S. and they won't make a deal if it isn't in the best interest of the long term health of the league.
4:15 p.m. ET:
Toronto FC select 17-year-old Zachary Herold (D) of West Pines United Club/U-17.
4:28 p.m. ET:
Herold is a Generation adidas player from Port St. Lucie, FLA. He's a 5'11 central defender who seems quite mature for his age. Johnston and Preki seem happy. Mo says they might have made a move for Teal Bunbury, but weren't prepared to break the bank for him.
