LONDON -- Frank Lampard will lead England in Saturday's friendly against Spain, with regular captain John Terry set to be among the substitutes at Wembley Stadium.

The Chelsea midfielder's only previous appearance as captain in his 89 internationals was in February's 2-1 win at Denmark.

Lampard says "it will be my proudest moment in an England shirt."

Manager Fabio Capello also says Manchester United defender Phil Jones will play in midfield against the world and European champions.
