With the MLS season finished, Toronto FC is letting star goalkeeper Stefan Frei to train with Liverpool FC.
"This is a great opportunity for Stefan and we were happy to give him permission to train with a historic club like Liverpool," said Toronto FC Head Coach and Technical Director Aron Winter. "He has emerged as one of the top keepers in the league since the start of his career and has certainly earned this special opportunity."
The 25-year-old was drafted 13th overall in 2009 by Toronto FC and has spent three seasons with the club.
Frei with be with Liverpool until December 18.
