STUTTGART, Germany -- Stuttgart has signed striker Vedad Ibisevic from Bundesliga rival Hoffenheim.
Stuttgart says the 27-year-old Bosnian received a 4 1/2-year contract.
Ibisevic scored 18 goals in 17 games in Hoffenheim's debut Bundesliga season in 2008 before tearing knee ligaments. He has had a lower scoring average since his comeback and netted five goals in 10 games for Hoffenheim in the first half of this season while not always being first-choice under coach Holger Stanislawski.
