STUTTGART, Germany -- Stuttgart defender Cristian Molinaro has been banned for three Bundesliga matches after getting sent off in the 2-2 draw at Bayer Leverkusen.

Molinaro will be available for the German Cup quarterfinal match against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

The Italian left back will miss Bundesliga matches against Hertha Berlin, Hannover and Freiburg.
