It’s been a good 2016-17 season for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. A seventh-consecutive 45-plus goal season, his second La Liga title with Real Madrid and a fourth Champions League triumph in his career (his third with his Spanish club).
Now, the famous No. 7 can add one more notch to his belt that, depending on who you speak to, is every bit as prestigious as any of his other vast accomplishments: EA Sports FIFA 18 cover star.

Announced Monday, this is the first time Ronaldo will grace the cover of an EA Sports FIFA title, but not the first time he’s been the cover athlete of a video game. Ronaldo has appeared as the cover athlete For Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series three times before.
In addition to announcing Ronaldo as the cover star for their upcoming footy offering, EA Sports also unveiled there will be three editions of the title, a “Standard Edition” a “Ronaldo Edition” and a deluxe “Icon Edition” that they were promoting on Twitter with Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
