DORTMUND, Germany — Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic and midfielder Sebastian Kehl have been ruled out of Saturday’s Bundesliga match against visiting Paderborn because of injury.
Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp says Subotic has a back injury while Kehl will be out for two weeks after breaking a rib in Wednesday’s training. Nuri Sahin, Oliver Kirch and Lukasz Piszczek were already ruled out.
Klopp says "we cannot yet say who’s going to be available for us."
Klopp, who announced Wednesday he’s stepping down at the end of the season after seven years, says he’s "not on a farewell tour. We have eight games left and I’ll say goodbye when the time is right."
Klopp was including the German Cup final in the remaining games. Dortmund still has to visit Bayern Munich in the semifinals.
