LONDON — Hungary midfielder Zoltan Gera has signed a new one-year contract with West Bromwich Albion after recovering from a serious knee injury.
The 34-year-old Gera hasn’t played since January after damaging an anterior cruciate knee ligament. His contract with West Brom expired this summer but he was offered a new deal after continuing his recovery at the club.
West Brom says the former Fulham player will resume full training by the end of the month and should be able to make his competitive comeback in October.
