DUBLIN — Ireland conceded an 85th-minute equalizer to draw 1-1 with the Netherlands on Friday in its latest warmup match before competing in the European Championship.

Luuk de Jong’s header earned a draw for the Dutch, who will not be playing in France after surprisingly finishing fourth in their qualifying group.

Shane Long put Ireland ahead with a close-range finish for his 16th international goal. The Irish, who are now unbeaten in five games, had to play for long periods with the ball as the Netherlands dominated possession — a scenario that is likely to be repeated at the Euros in a group containing Belgium, Italy and Sweden.
