Frankfurt’s Trapp out up to 12 weeks with injury

FRANKFURT, Germany — Eintracht Frankfurt says goalkeeper Kevin Trapp will miss up to 12 weeks because of an ankle injury which needs surgery.

Trapp hurt his left ankle in a 2-2 draw with Mainz in the Bundesliga on Tuesday.

The goalie will have an operation on Thursday.

Eintracht is in the middle of the standings with one win, one loss and three defeats.
