Carl Robinson hasn’t put a foot wrong since taking over as Vancouver Whitecaps manager in the 2013 off-season.

The Welsh tactician led the Whitecaps to its second MLS playoff appearance last year, and at 38 he has garnered a reputation as one of the best up-and-coming managers in the league.

Robinson has also made a number of astute players signings during his time in Vancouver.

Pedro Morales was Robinson’s first major move, and the Chilean midfielder has certainly lived up to his designated player status—he was voted MLS newcomer of the year in 2014 after scoring 10 goals and adding 12 assists for the Whitecaps.

Costa Rican defender Kendall Waston, signed last summer, has helped stabilize a Whitecaps’ back line that had to deal with the sudden retirement of Jay DeMerit last season.

Uruguayan forward Octavio Rivero, another newcomer this year, has three goals through his first four games.

But which Robinson singing has had the greatest impact for the Whitecaps?
