MILAN, Italy — Argentina forward Rodrigo Palacio has extended his contract with Inter Milan by one season until 2016.
Inter announced the extension on its website on Friday.
Palacio’s previous deal was due to expire in 2015.
While Inter did not release financial details, local media reported the new deal includes a pay raise that should give Palacio a salary of more than 3 million euros ($4 million) per season, including bonuses.
The 32-year-old Palacio has 36 goals in 68 appearances in all competitions since joining Inter from Genoa in 2012.
