SATURDAY
Chelsea vs. Norwich City
Broadcast info: Four main Sportsnet channels at 9:30 am ET

Player to watch: Eden Hazard. Last year’s player of the season has been far from his best this campaign, with just one goal and two assists in 18 matches in all competitions. With Chelsea sitting 16th in the table and riding a three-game losing streak, the Belgian desperately needs a breakout game to get back into Jose Mourinho’s good books.

SATURDAY
Newcastle United vs. Leicester City
Broadcast info: Sportsnet ONE at 9:30 am ET

Player to watch: Jamie Vardy. There’s some doubt as to whether he’ll play—Vardy is nursing a hip injury, and had to sit out both of England’s recent friendlies. But if he does play, he’ll have a chance to equal Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive Premier League matches.

Match notes: Newcastle United have lost just one of their last eight Premier League meetings with Leicester City (with four wins), although that was a loss at the King Power Stadium in May… Newcastle has kept two clean sheets in a row. They last went three league matches without conceding in November 2014… Leonardo Ulloa has scored three goals in two matches against Newcastle in all competitions… Giorginio Wijnaldum has scored a league-high four headed goals from just four headers on target this season.

Player to watch: Jack Butland. The English goalkeeper has been a key figure behind Stoke’s success this season—he’s posted four clean sheets and has conceded just 12 goals.

Match notes: This is Stoke’s best-ever start to a Premier League campaign (16 points, minus-2 goal difference… Peter Odemwingie has scored three goals in three league games against Southampton… Southampton is unbeaten in six league matches (with four wins). The last time they enjoyed a longer unbeaten run in the Premier League was in November 2013 (eight matches)… Stoke has lost just one of its last seven league games and has kept four clean sheets in its last five.

SATURDAY
Manchester City vs. Liverpool
Broadcast info: Four main Sportsnet channels at noon ET

Player to watch: Sergio Aguero and Daniel Sturridge. Both forwards could see action on Saurday for their respective clubs in this marquee match after being sidelined with injuries for several weeks.

Match notes: Liverpool has lost one of their last six away league matches (with two wins)… Only Joe Hart has kept more clean sheets in the league (14) in 2015 than Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet (13)… Philippe Coutinho has scored three goals in four league appearances against Manchester City… Manchester City has won four and lost none of its last six league matches against Liverpool at home.

SUNDAY

Broadcast info: Sportsnet World at 10:30 am ET

He scored three goals in his first three games for Spurs before getting injured, and bagged two goals for South Korea during the international break.

Match notes: West Ham United has made their best start to a Premier League season after 12 matches (21 points)… Injured midfielder Dimitri Payet has been involved in 35 percent of West Ham’s league goals in 2015-16, more than any other player at the club… Spurs have lost just two of their last 19 home matches in the league (with 11 wins)… West Ham has won four of ita six league away matches this season. They had won just four of the previous 25.
