BEIJING — Chinese Super League club Hebei China Fortune says it has signed Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The club announced the 30-year-old Argentine forward’s signing on its Twitter-like site Weibo on Wednesday but gave no details about his salary or other terms. France’s L’Equipe newspaper says he will earn about 15 million euros ($17 million) per year.

Lavezzi scored 22 goals in 107 appearances for PSG and has scored seven goals in 48 appearances for Argentina.

He joins Ivory Coast forward Gervinho who moved from Italian side Roma in January.

Lavezzi is the latest player to be lured from a European club by one of China’s big-spending outfits. Jiangsu Suning paid $56 million for Brazilian midfielder Alex Teixeira and Colombian striker Jackson Martinez joined Guangzhou Evergrande for $47 million.
