TORONTO — Toronto FC named Greg Vanney the team’s assistant general manager and Academy director.
Vanney, 39, joins Toronto after most recently serving as the head coach for the Los Angeles Galaxy’s Under-14 Academy side.
He replaces Tomas Rongen, who had previously served as TFC’s Academy Director.
"Greg is a visionary when it comes to player development. He shares our club’s passion for innovation and is an educator of both players and coaches," said Toronto FC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko.
