TORONTO — Major League Soccer club Toronto FC has recalled goalkeeper Quillan Roberts from its USL PRO Club affiliate.

He recently appeared in Toronto FC’s July 23 friendly versus Tottenham Hotspur, logging 45 minutes against the English Premier League club.
"We are excited and encouraged by the progress Quillan made with Wilmington over the course of his loan this season," Toronto FC general manager Tim Bezbatchenko said in a statement. "We wanted to ensure we have three keepers on our roster as we head into the second half of the season. I’d like to thank Wilmington for providing Quillan with an excellent professional soccer environment over the past five months."
