Neymar’s transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain captured everyone attention’s Thursday, as the Brazilian soccer star was signed over for a record fee of £222 million.
After four seasons playing for one of soccer’s true powerhouses, Neymar took to social media to thank all those that helped him throughout that stage of his career.
“Barcelona and Catalonia have always been in my heart,” Neymar said in a video on Instagram, “but I need new challenges.”
After Neymar’s move to PSG was made official, Twitter exploded.
Each and every aspect of his transfer has now been studied, starting with what roughly £200 million can really buy you in life.
For the price of Neymar, you could buy enough Spaghetti to cover the whole city of Barcelona.

Neymar did cost PSG a boat load of money, but their fans don’t seem to be bothered by that.
There’s already a party waiting for the man who’s expected to be give Paris many more reasons to celebrate moving forward.

It wasn’t all sunshines and rainbows though. Those who have a rift with Barcelona, and even Neymar, had their chance today to get some hate off their chests.

On the other hand, Barcelona fans aren’t taking the news too kindly.
It’s expected, considering that during Neymar’s tenure with Barcelona, he along with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, combined for 250 goals over the course of three seasons – the most of any attacking trio in Europe’s top five leagues.
