Toronto FC’s star forward Sebastian Giovinco has taken on the role of superhero with the club this season, so it’s only fitting that the team gave him the comic book treatment.
TFC released a comic book-style video depicting Giovinco as a superhero named the “Atomic Ant”, the Italian’s nickname, where his superhuman abilities are too much to handle for MLS defences.
Giovinco has seven goals and six assists, many of which have bailed the club out of some sticky situations. Toronto FC has won three games in a row and will face David Villa’s New York City FC at BMO Field on Saturday.
