West Ham signs Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen

West Ham United has officially announced the signing of Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of £16 million ($26 million CAD).

Hernandez, 29, previously played in the Premier League for Manchester United from 2010 to 2015, recording at least 10 league goals in each of his first three seasons in England.

The forward is also Mexico’s all-time leading scorer with 48 goals in 96 international caps.
