EDMONTON – The first leg of the Amway Canadian Championship semifinal between the Vancouver Whitecaps and FC Edmonton has been postponed due to unplayable conditions at Clarke Field.

Match officials and Canada Soccer deemed the Clarke Field pitch unsafe after an evaluation of conditions following snow in Edmonton.

Vancouver will host the first leg of the two-game semifinal at BC Place on Wednesday, and the second leg will now be played in Edmonton on May 20 at Clarke Field. Kickoff time will be confirmed at a later date.
