Sportsnet Rolls out the Red Carpet for NHL’s Future Stars with Coverage of 2015 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, Tomorrow

TORONTO (January 21, 2015) Sportsnet shines a spotlight on the CHL’s top-40 NHL draft eligible players with exclusive Canadian coverage of the 2015 BMO CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet East, Ontario, West, Pacific, Sportsnet 590 The FAN, Sportsnet 960 The FAN and Sportsnet NOW.

 

Bringing fans into the heart of the action in St. Catharines, ON, Jeff Marek, host of Sportsnet’s CHL hockey broadcasts, provides pre-game and intermission analysis alongside panelists Damien Cox, John Shannon and former NHLer Todd Warriner. Sportsnet’s veteran CHL broadcast team of play-by-play announcer RJ Broadhead, analyst Sam Cosentino, and in-game host Rob Faulds, bring fans the action from the ice. On the radio side, Mel Raskin and Jason Nobili – associate coach and assistant GM of the Mississauga Steelheads – call the game for Sportsnet 590 The FAN and Sportsnet 960 The FAN.

 

Joining head coach Don Cherry behind the bench for Team Cherry is NHL on Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos, who will act as assistant coach for a third straight year. On the opposing bench, NHL on Sportsnet’s Doug MacLean returns for his third year as assistant coach of Team Orr, alongside head coach Bobby Orr.
