Canadian Milos Raonic will finish the 2012 season ranked a career-high 13th in The Association of Tennis Professionals year-end rankings.
The 21-year-old won the ATP Newcomer of the Year award in 2011 for his breakout season and continued building on that momentum in 2012.
Raonic began the year by winning the 2012 Aircel Chennai Open and did not drop serve throughout the entire tournament.
He then went on to represent Canada in the Davis Cup in February and followed that up by winning the SAP Open in San Jose.
He was eliminated in the second round at this year’s Wimbledon, but advanced to the third round of the Australian Open and French Open and made it to the fourth round of the US Open, only to lose to Scotsman Andy Murray.
Overall, Raonic had a 44-19 record in 2012 while picking up two ATP singles titles along the way.
