Tennis superstar Serena Williams has given birth to a baby girl at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., according to multiple reports.

The 35-year-old reportedly checked into the hospital on Wednesday and was induced on Thursday night.

Williams accidentally publicly posted a photo of herself on Snapchat in April with the caption “20 weeks,” and a spokesperson later confirmed to the Associated Press that Williams was pregnant. The timeline presented by the Snapchat photo means Williams was already pregnant when she won the Australian Open in January, the last tournament in which she competed.

The 23-time major champion announced in late December that she was engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.

Williams’ 23 Grand Slam singles titles are a record for the Open era, which began in 1968 — she broke a tie with Steffi Graf in Australia. Only one woman has won more: Margaret Smith Court, who claimed part of her 24 during the amateur era.
