Sports Interaction’s Pick Six

It’s hard to believe but the NFL stretch drive to the post season is officially underway. It starts off with a juicy matchup on Thursday night and ends on Monday featuring two solid playoff teams in the NFC.

Here are the opening NFL Odds for week 11.

Cardinals at Seahawks (-3)

This might be the best Thursday nighter of the year. More importantly it’s for first place in the NFC West as a pair of 6-3 teams do battle. The Seahawks have lost two straight entering this game and also dropped the first head-to-head matchup with the Cards back on October 25.

Pick: Cardinals +3

Titans at Ravens (-6)

For some reason the Ravens have been on a slide as of late. They have lost two of their last three games and question marks about the offence loom large. The Titans haven’t fared much better. They have lost three games all season, but all three setbacks have happened in their last four games. My determining factor? There are too many points on the board for a team that features Derrick Henry.

Pick: Titans +6

Steelers (-10) at Jaguars

Another double-digit game for the Steelers? That hasn’t been a good recipe for the Steelers this season. Back on November 8 they were 14-point favourites against the lowly Dallas Cowboys and squeezed out a five-point win, and trust me, the Jaguars are much better than the Cowboys. I smell a back-door cover from Jake Luton and the home side. Sorry, this game will not be Luton-free.

Pick: Jaguars +10

Packers at Colts (-2.5)

Aaron Rodgers faces the league’s second-best pass defence in the Colts. That’s the feature matchup between these two non-conference rivals. Both teams are coming off wins in week ten, and both seem destined to be playoff bound. The Packers are 4-1 on the road this season.

Pick: Packers +2.5

Chiefs (-7) at Raiders

Will this be the Patrick Mahomes make up game? The Raiders stunned the Chiefs at Arrowhead earlier in October, handing the defending Super Bowl champs their only loss of the season. Does history repeat itself? Prior to that loss, the Chiefs had won the previous five games against the Raiders. I’ll call a Kansas City win, but a Raiders cover.

Pick: Raiders +7

Rams at Buccaneers (-3)

After getting embarrassed by the Saints in Week Nine (38-3) the new Brady Bunch rebounded well with a convincing 46-23 win over the Panthers. Brady had his second-best passing yardage game of the season, throwing for 341 yards and three touchdowns. There could be some points on the board at the end of this Monday Nighter, however it will favour the home side Bucs.

Pick: Bucs -3

Last week: 3-3

Y.T.D: 29-30
