Breakouts and Busts: Jays Mid-Season Review
July 04 2022
We kick off the hour with Stephen Brunt and he and Ben review the Jays at the halfway mark (81 games) and the fact that the pitching and bullpen is becoming the most significant issue with the team. More specifically, Thomas Hatch and what has gone wrong with him. Then over to the other huge story of the day with the Raptors interest in Kevin Durant and how much of the roster you'd have to mortgage in order to get him. Later (28:00) we catch up with Arden Zwelling who also discusses the Hatch mystery and in his review of the halfway position they focus on Bo Bichette and his under the radar underwhelming season. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliate.

Live Reaction: NBA Free Agency, Raps Signings
June 30 2022
Ben starts the hour with Michael Grange as NBA Free Agency officially begins at the start of hour #2. With that in the middle of our "Durant would fit with the Raptors" talk we learn that Toronto has a new deal in place with Chris Boucher. Ahead of that they speculate about KD and how Brooklyn managed to blow it when they attempted to build a super team. Later (28:00) we speak with Jon Morosi from MLB Network on the Jays need for a trade (or more) and why playing in a Dome makes Toronto a perfect place to host double headers. He thinks expansion will iron out any issues with the scheduling as well. Then a cool comeback story of Mark Appel who made his MLB pitching debut ... 9 years after being drafted. Then how there are comparisons to the journey that Jose Bautista took across his career. The views and opinions expressed in this podcast are those of the hosts and guests and do not necessarily reflect the position of Rogers Sports & Media or any affiliate.
