It was a difficult decision, but a head coaching change was needed in Calgary
April 24 2018
Calgary Flames GM Brad Treliving joins Bob McCown and John Shannon to lay out his reasoning for firing Glen Gulutzan as head coach of the team and replacing him with Bill Peters, who most recently coached the Carolina Hurricanes. He says it was hard to let Glen go, but there had to be accountability for the team's disappointing season, and he thinks that Peters can maximize the results of their roster.
