Having a good power play is the key to the Canucks winning games in this tight Scotia North Division, it’s also going to be the key to you winning free food at McDonald’s! Sportsnet 650 is excited to partner with McDonald’s Canada for the “McDonald’s Power Play Contest”.
HOW IT WORKS:
Starting April 12th, when your Vancouver Canucks go on the power play, you could WIN a $50 McDonald’s Canada gift card! Enter below for your chance to win, then listen to the Vancouver Canucks broadcasts here on Sportsnet 650. Every time your Canucks go on the power play, Brendan Batchelor and Corey Hirsch will announce a power play contestant, if the Canucks score a goal on that power play, that contestant will win a $50 McDonald’s gift card.
Presented by McDonald’s Canada … and by Sportsnet 650 “Radio’s Home of Hockey”.
Every Canucks game day, home and away, McDonald’s restaurants in B.C. & Yukon are offering guests a $2 Big Mac or $2 McChicken, exclusively through the McDonald’s App. Guests can capitalize on the deal every game day, from 11:00 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
The offer is available in-restaurant only, including Drive Thru and Mobile Ordering with Curbside pick-up. Offer not available through McDelivery.
Check out the McDonald’s App to receive other special offers, collect rewards and order ahead of time.
No purchase necessary. You can also mail your entry, (inclusive of your name, phone number and the contest you want to enter), to Sportsnet 650 Promotions, 2440 Ash St, Vancouver, B.C V5Z 4J6.
Entry period open Thursday, April 1st, 2021 at 12:01am PST and closes Friday, May 16th, 2021 at 11:59pm PST. Contest period runs during all Vancouver Canuck radio broadcasts on Sportsnet 650 Vancouver from Monday, April 12th, 2021 – Saturday, May 16th, 2021.
The Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia who have reached the legal age of majority at the time of entry. One online entry form per person/email address. One qualifier will be drawn from entries during each Vancouver Canucks powerplay during the official CONTEST PERIOD. That qualifier will be announced once drawn on our Vancouver Canucks broadcast. If the Canucks score on that power play, that qualifier previously announced for that particular power play will win a $50 McDonald’s Canada gift card. If the Canucks do not score on that power play, the qualifier doesn’t win a prize and will be returned into the pool of entrants and may be drawn again. In the event multiple penalties are called, each contestant will be assigned to the power play they were announced on.
Sportsnet 650 reserves the right to refuse and reject duplicate entries. Math skill-testing question must be correctly answered to win.
(EXAMPLE: Canucks go on the power play, John Smith from Abbotsford is our contestant. A few seconds later, the Canucks get awarded another power play making it a 5 on 3, Jane Smith from Nanaimo is our second power play contestant. During the 5 on 3, the Canucks score a goal, John Smith wins a $50 McDonald’s gift card and Jane Smith’s power play is still active. If the first power play on during the 5 on 3 expires before there is a goal, John Smith’s contest occasion expires and Jane Smith remains an active contestant until her power play concludes.)
