Due to the current COVID-19 conditions in British Columbia, the HSBC Canada Sevens tournament scheduled for February 26-27 will now be held April 16-17, 2022 to provide the best opportunity to ensure the safety of fans, athletes, officials and staff.
HSBC Canada Sevens is a two-day rugby tournament featuring the world’s top teams as part of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series. Canada’s stop on the series debuted in Vancouver in 2016 and has built a standing reputation as the best weekend of the year and the largest sporting event in Western Canada. Dozens of 15 minute matches are played throughout both days, while the atmosphere attracts more than rugby fans alike as Sevens’ tradition of fancy dress makes the event an ultimate costume party.
16 core teams are returning to BC Place including Fiji, Australia, South Africa and the All Blacks.
