The logistical challenges of sending an orca to the NHL draft
April 25 2018
Veteran reporter Iain MacIntyre joins Sat and Alex to talk about the NHL draft lottery and to share his opinion that the debacle is little more than a hoax, "a joke as far as helping the teams that need it the most." But maybe this is the year something positive happens for the Canucks. He discusses the strategy for the club if they sit in various spots because there are a few d-men that can go anywhere from fifth to 12th overall. Chris Tanev has low trade value at the moment because of his spate of injuries, but in return, Vancouver needs a younger skating with a high ceiling.

Can this 'thinnest, shallowest' iteration of the Caps vanquish the Pens?
April 24 2018
Senior NHL writer with ESPN, Greg Wyshynski, talks to Sat and Alex about the off-season aspirations of the Columbus Blue Jackets and why Sergei Bobrovsky stays put in net and who else the club locks in. What changes for the Capitals in their third-straight meeting with the Penguins? He's not expecting much but maybe that is key. "This is the thinnest, shallowest group of Capitals we've seen..." He picked the Leafs to win their series against the Bruins, but all bets are off for Game 7 because who can predict which Freddy Andersen shows up.
