Stars' Gaglardi on hosting NHL Draft, making moves and winning it all
June 22 2018
The owner of the Dallas Stars and this year's host of the NHL Draft joins Sat and Alex on the draft floor at his rink in Big D. He's proud to be hosting and showcasing his city to his NHL brethren. An NHL owner since 2011, he says the toughest lessons is just how hard it is to with the Stanley Cup. That said, he's optimistic for next season as the Stars recover from injury setbacks and players like Ben Bishop settle in. The Vancouverite would love to see an expansion team down the I-5 in Seattle.

Canucks coach confident the NHL Draft delivers a player he likes
June 22 2018
Travis Green sits down with Satiar Shah and Alex Auld on the floor of the NHL Draft hours before the first round begins. He's been in their shoes and now the NHL coach talks about how the wondering has shifted from which team will choose you versus which player will be on the board to choose. The Sedins created and leave lasting legacy, but the coach embraces this exciting time of transition. Players are not under pressure to be leaders they aren't naturally. He talks about the role of Markus Granlund, the anticipation of Elias Pettersson and upside of Jonathan Dahlen.

Gary Bettman doesn't exactly relish those boos but he doesn't mind them either
June 22 2018
On one level, the NHL Draft is a business meeting, the commissioner tells Sat and Alex. "It's also an opportunity to celebrate, have fun with the game and connect with our fans here in Dallas." He talks about hockey's success in markets he calls "newer," not necessarily non-traditional. Will he have a trade to announce tonight in the first round? "You know... I don't know!" It does get the audience excited because, for the most part, they play out in real time. Seattle's application for an expansion team looks promising, but the league is reviewing it and has attached no timeline to the process.
