Golden Knights fan speaks for us all: 'It's far exceeded my expectations'
May 22 2018
Professional poker player Daniel Negreanu joins Dan Riccio and Randi Janda to talk about the NHL playoffs and his immense fandom for the expansion Golden Knights. He grew up in Toronto, became disenfranchised with the Maple Leafs, and now appreciates the clean slate and -- bonus! -- the winning season. A few reasons for the success is having a player's coach and how those players came together early in the season in response to the mass murder in their new city. The turning point was their first road trip, which led to a win streak.

The Capitals losing four straight playoff games is a collapse, isn't it?
May 21 2018
Isabelle Khurshudyan, the WaPo reporter covering the Capitals, joins Randip Janda and Dave Sheldon to preview Game 6 tonight in Washington against Tampa Bay. If they drop four in a row with another loss tonight, isn't that a collapse? "they're almost victims of their own success..." even though the Lightning are better on paper and were also favoured to win the Eastern Conference. The Caps should keep it as simple as possible, and their fans have got to show more love during those nervy points. Ovie says he doesn't hear the boos.
