Canucks facing more 'blendered match-up' defensive pairings
July 20 2018
Dobber Sports' Cam Robinson joins Dan Riccio and Israel Fehr on Reach Deep and the new home of the Vancouver Giants to talk about WHL prospects and the NHL entry draft, set for Vancouver next June. The G-Men may have a top-10 NHL draft pick in Bowen Byram, a "tremendous skater" who takes offensive chances. To the big leagues, they talk Canucks lines. Troy Stecher is the kind of o-minded d-man the Canucks need but the team will continue to experiment with blueline partnerships and he predicts more "blendered match-up pairings." Speaking of experimentation, Brandon Sutter is likely Vancouver's second-line centre.
