Vancouver Giants name Jared Dmytriw captain ahead of season opener vs Everett
September 21 2018
Vancouver Giants head coach Michael Dyck sets up Friday night's season opener versus the Everett Silvertips at the Langley Event Centre. Coach explains why he decided on Jared Dmytriw as the team's captain for this season. Dyck says he's an experienced 20 year old who serves as a good role model for younger players. Even though the Giants lost their two top scorers from last year, there are still major expectations in Vancouver. Dyck says the offence will be more balanced this year as opposed to one or two guys driving the offence.
