March 21 2018

Kypreos on perks of being a Canucks' prospect: 'You've got to be opportunistic'
March 20 2018
Nick Kypreos calls in to the Starting Lineup from the GM's Meeting in Florida to discuss contentious rules like goaltender interference and potential rule changes, such as playoff seeding. He doesn't see a bye-round coming into play. It can be a challenge to be a prospect along side Brock Boeser, who grabs most of the attention, but it's time for others to be opportunistic. "The canvas is blank." Outside of Boeser and Bo Horvat, the door is wide open. "I would love now to be a young prospect in that organization."
Markstrom must prove he's still the best option for Canucks
March 20 2018
Dan Murphy calls in from Las Vegas to preview the Canucks visit to the Golden Knights. He treats "work Vegas" differently from "fun Vegas," which means seeing the sunrise and not in the fun way. He keeps Brendan Leipsic over other contenders and is not ready to give up on Nikolay Goldobin. He predicts Darren Archibald sticks around, too. He breaks down Jacob Markstrom as average but believes he'll stay until Thatcher Demko is ready.
Bertuzzi on every beer league 'Charlie hustle' keen to impress retired NHLers
March 20 2018
On Bertuesday, the retired NHLer Todd Bertuzzi tell stories about Bobby Orr, who turns 70 on this day, and what it's like to play in recreational or charity games against civilians. "There's always that one 'Charlie hustle' and that's his Game 7." The Canucks' free fall is a mental challenge and they will show their mettle by continuing to battle. Fans deserve the players' professionalism through to the end.
