The retired NHLer enters the B.C. Hockey Hall of Fame this week and joins Perry Solkowski and Corey Hirsch to talk about his career. He played 1,055 NHL games, most of them for the Sharks, and says he's honoured to be in the 2018 class. Growing up in Surrey, he was a major Canucks fan and admired Jyrki Lumme and Doug Lidster. Being part of the hockey fraternity means you don't frequently see each other, but you always feel like brothers.

The long-time member of the Caps’ development system joins Perry Solkowski and Corey Hirsch on the Starting Lineup after he got his first start with the Whitecaps' first team this week against the Montreal Impact. He prepared as usual and tried to treat it as any other game. "It takes fist five, 10 minutes for the game to settle down." During this transition from college to elite soccer, he's leaning on coaching staff and his parents, including his father and former national team player, David Sr. The junior player has his eyes set on the 2022 World Cup with Canada and, beyond that, 2026 with a group of hungry compatriots.

The owner of the WHL hockey club joins the hosts of the Starting Lineup, including former WHLer Corey Hirsch, talks about their new relationship with Sportsnet 650 and how they plan to make theirs a championship team once again. "We were a model franchise," he says. "We went into the summers not worrying about having to do anything... We've gone through a lot of changes." He talks about the benefits of playing major junior hockey and how that establishes boys for success later in life as men.
