July 20 2018
ESPN NBA reporter Kevin Arnovitz rings up Sat Shah and Bik Nizzar to talk about what it would take for Kawhi Leonard to look long-term at Toronto. There are variables, he says. "The first will be winning." His commitment was in doubt even in San Antonio, and if L.A. is his ultimate goal, he will not want to see his numbers drop. Afterall, this is still a competitive guy. Toronto had a reputation for being "a Siberia" for ill-informed observers in the U.S., but DeMar DeRozan's lasting legacy will be building the city's reputation so it was recognized as being "about as good place you can play basketball in the NBA."
