"After 16 years of no playoffs, the skepticism is a thick as molasses," he says. But winning like they have been softens even the hardest critic, he says. Meeting the Orioles over the weekend will be a barometre on the season since it's hard to imagine their winning continues at this very high rate. Over in Vancouver, she agrees the Canucks have to be open-minded and creative but more than anything, they need defensive depth.
